Week 76: Homecoming (December 15, 2019)
I spent my entire mission serving in two areas, nine months in Helena, and nine months in Billings. However, through a certain position I held throughout most of my mission, I was privileged to travel to many parts of the state to visit other sisters. I have been pondering and thinking about this particular morning, for a few months now. Pondering how I would surely feel, my first morning without a name tag. How it would feel to look into the eyes of many people that I love, and having not been reunited with them yet. But mainly I have thought about if I would feel different; if for some reason taking off that tag would make me much different the following day. The more that I have studied, prayed, and prepared myself for the inevitable, the ultimate end to this chapter, the more that I have sought God’s power in my life.
